請將各個 dat 檔案
(ch_index.dat, dict.dat, fonetree.dat, ph_index.dat, us_freq.dat)
放到以下位置：
Windows XP： 放在 C:\Windows\System32\IME\Chewing
Windows 2000： 放在C:\WinNT\System32\IME\Chewing
Windows 98/ME： 放在 C:\Windows\System\IME\Chewing
按下鍵盤 Ctrl + Alt + Delete 叫出工作管理員，
查看「處理程序」中是否 ChewingServer.exe 在執行中，如果有此程式
請將他結束，則下次啟動新酷音將會重新載入新的詞庫
